Narendra Modi's fast - projection of himself as secular will be connotated as ‘Secularly Different’ or may be ‘Secularly Nazi’.

Imagine if Adolf Hitler would have opted for fast to ‘regret’ his excesses on Jews instead of opting for suicide by gunshot, would it have a different impact on history? He would have been exhaled as a saint or a metamorphosed non violent Nazi? Who knows the answer, perhaps none? because it never happened. Hitler remained honest Nazi and he led his violent behavior to overcome his life and of his 40 hr old wife.

Mr.Modi who is well known among ‘us’ and among ‘them’ (as he is the man of us versus them) as a Nazi of India who lead (or directed) the whole pogram of 2002 against the Muslims (the Jew of Gujarat?) while he is deeply regarded as a propellant of good governance and development among ‘them’ as a chief minister of Gujarat. Mr. Modi has opted for a three day fast for ‘Peace’ and ‘Communal Harmony’ in the state. He must be regarded as the historic figure in history of power who as chief minister opted the ‘policy of fast’ to ensure peace and communal harmony - The exceptionally creative CM of all time. Bush you missed it!!!

Modi’s fast is certainly not without resemblance and significance. BJP is backing it powerfully as the party with a [NO] difference has no choice; its leadership rank is quite anxious, quite weak too. The only mass leader they have in their rank of ‘trust’ is Modi - A Modi with a difference. He is well considered candidate for Prime Ministerial office within the party but his own past is haunting on his dreams. The officers who once followed his orders are now against him, the court is after him (though he can sigh in relief after one direction of SC) and the things are not moving exactly in the way he wants. So, what left? Fast!

Modi who never regretted for the anti Muslim pogrom of 2002 not as architect of it but even as a chief minister of state, he has no guilt for that bloodshed. Fast or Anshan is not for ‘other’ it’s fundamentally for the ‘self’ to progress further on path of humility. A fast spiritually stands for that humility.

Perhaps Modi should fast, but fast for repentance and not for three days, may be more.

  ‘All these are political stunts and drama by Mr. Modi to improve his candidature for Prime Ministership. While the Supreme Court has transferred his case to a lower court in the state, Mr. Modi is trying to project his so-called secular image with these political gimmicks’. But obviously his projection of himself as secular will be connotated as ‘Secularly Different’ or may be ‘Secularly Nazi’.
